The Nines
Synopsis
The Nines are accomplishment, the fulfillment of a journey. It is the third of the three triads (3, 6, 9). The Threes prepare for the journey; the Sixes are a peak experience during the journey; the Nines are the sense of being whole with completion. On the Tree of Life, the Nines are associated with the Sefirot Yesod, "Foundation". This is the realm of realization and the imaginal, the land of dreams that we draw upon to make manifest in the material world. The Nines when brought together are pure magic.
Wands
Moon in Sagittarius
The Nine of Wands has the energy of all accomplishment that can make anything real. It is creativity at its fullest, the fire of divine inspiration filling every cell.
Cups
Jupiter in Pisces
The Nine of Cups is emotional fulfillment, satisfaction in relationships and with ourselves, and a sense of rightness with the world.
Swords
Mars in Gemini
The Nine of Swords can be challenging in that this can point to an overly analytical situation, losing a sense of direction in too many thoughts, or becoming lost in our fears--a nightmare, as suggested in the Waite-Smith card. The way through is with intent, focus, and dedication--one-pointed attention and meditation.
Disks
Venus in Virgo
The Nine of Disks brings sensory and material joy, a sense of being and having everything that one needs to create an environment of thriving.
